A modern interpretation of the jacket worn by Honda F1 Racing Team engineers during the 1988 Formula 1 championship-winning season. The design is an evolution of the 1986-1987 jacket but with a slimmer, more subtle, re-proportioned stripe.
The mighty turbo V6, Honda RA 166E engine produced more than 1000 hp, winning 15 out of 16 races in 1988 delivering Honda and their Woking-based partners the Formula 1 World Constructor's and Driver's Championship. It was the most dominant Formula 1 season at the time.
