Inspired by the Grand Prix mechanic uniforms from the mid-1960. Rendered as a retro lightweight windbreaker, tailored to our specifications with embroidered vintage branding, custom buttons and bespoke zipper pulls.
We went the extra mile in an effort to produce this highly authentic, heritage piece that captures not only the soul of the Honda brand but its humble roots. We journeyed to rural Japan to visit Honda's world famous museum in Motegi to examine an original vintage 1964 uniform up close. High-resolution scans of the art were used to precisely replicate the embroidered “Honda Motor, Tokyo” lettering and winged racing team logo on the sleeve.
