Honda Racing Replica Mechanics Hat (1964) - Black

We were able to source an original 1960s Honda grand prix mechanic's hat to create this accurate replica of the very hat worn by mechanics when Honda made their grand prix debut in August 1964 at the Nürburgring. The original 1960s hat was dark red but we have produced this replica in black. Cotton/poly mix with flocked artwork and mild contrast stitching. The unique, period correct, flex-style closure was accurately replicated as well. The interior materials and construction are also spot-on save for the more practical sweat band.
