Honda Racing Replica Mechanics Hat (1965)
We were able to source an original 1960s Honda grand prix mechanic's hat to create this accurate replica of the very hat worn by mechanics during the 1965 Formula 1 season, Honda's second year in the sport. It's an evolution of the all red 1964 hat with white side panels and updated branding.
Red & white mix cotton is period correct with flocked artwork and mild contrast stitching. The unique, period correct, flex-style closure was accurately replicated as well.
